Alexander Sobieska M.Sc.

Research associate

Alexander Sobieska is a research associate at the Chair of Ethics of AI and Neuroscience at the Institute for History and Ethics of Medicine at TU Munich. He is particularly interested in the interaction between social media, AI ethics and neuroscience.

He holds a Master's degree in Politics & Technology M.Sc. from TUM with a focus on computational social science, radicalization, and digital communication. In his master's thesis, he used longitudinal data from the online platform Reddit to investigate how radical language changes over time in the context of the Incel movement. He wrote his bachelor's thesis in psychology at LMU Munich on the interaction of gender identity and moral judgments. In addition to his previous work at the German Center for Integration and Migration Research (DeZIM), he is a researcher associated with the Humboldt University of Berlin.

Alexander Sobieska was a scholarship holder of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes and the TU: Junge Akademie.
