MD. Paula Hepp
Research fellow
Dr. Paula Hepp is a research associate at the Institute for the History and Ethics of Medicine at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). As part of the ADJUST project, she is investigating data justice and the participation of marginalized groups in digitalization in the healthcare sector.
She holds a Master's degree (MSc) in Global Health from Maastricht University, the Netherlands. In her master's thesis, she used ethnographic methods to investigate the socio-technical dimensions of water quality monitoring data systems in Bangladesh.
Paula Hepp studied medicine at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, where she completed her doctorate on placental changes in gestational diabetes. She is a licensed physician and has worked in gynecology and obstetrics for several years.
