The Institute for History and Ethics of Medicine at TUM is looking for the following to start as soon as possible

Students with research assistantships (f/m/d) (6-8 hours/week)

 

In addition to the history of medicine, the Institute for the History and Ethics of Medicine (IGEM) focuses on the ethical and social issues raised by rapid developments in medical research and practice. A particular concern is to make such issues also visible to the public and to various audiences.

 

Activities:

  • Support with the maintenance and updating of the institute's website (WordPress)
  • Help with filing documents
  • Support with the institute's own e-mail account
  • Support in the organization and implementation of events
  • Adding books to the institute library
  • Mail aisles
  • Assist in maintaining and updating publication lists, etc.
  • Assisting with the organization of teaching

 

We are looking for students (f/m/d) who work reliably, independently and precisely. Knowledge of the German language (level B1) is required, as well as proficient use of common Microsoft Office programs. Further previous knowledge is not necessary. If required, you will be trained accordingly.

Our institute offers you a small dedicated team, a pleasant working atmosphere, insight into the scientific community and medical ethics. The institute is conveniently located at Prinzregentenstr. 68, close to the Klinikum rechts der Isar (MRI).

Working hours can be arranged flexibly. The remuneration is based on the remuneration rate of the Technical University of Munich. The start of employment is the next possible date. The advertisement is explicitly also directed at students of lower semesters.
