Award of the Bavarian Order of Merit to Prof. Alena Buyx
On July 05, 2023, Prof. Dr. Alena Buyx was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit by Minister President Dr. Markus Söder in the Antiquarium of the Munich Residence.
The Bavarian Order of Merit, which has been awarded since 1957 "as a sign of honorable and grateful recognition for outstanding services to the Free State of Bavaria and the Bavarian people," is one of the highest awards given by the Free State of Bavaria, with a maximum of 2,000 living recipients. The lifetime achievement of the respective recipient is honored, in particular the extraordinary dedication and great commitment to the community.
