Dr. des. Julia Conrad

Office Management and Coordination Officer

Since September 2020, Julia Conrad has been managing and coordinating the office of the Institute for the History and Ethics of Medicine (IGEM) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). Previously, she worked there as PR officer and assistant to the director since May 2019.

She studied Communication Science, Psychology and Romance Philology at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (WWU) and subsequently completed her PhD at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (LMU). From 2011-2016, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Communication Studies and Media Research at LMU.

She gained practical professional experience both in public administration and in the media sector at the German Foreign Office as well as in various editorial offices in Germany and in Spanish-speaking countries.
