Job Description:
The Munich University of Technology (TUM) and the Augsburg University (UniA) are seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher for an exciting interdisciplinary project exploring the ethics of predictive AI in psychiatry and mental health care. The collaborative research project aims to address the profound ethical issues associated with AI-driven predictive models in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of mental illness. The position is jointly supervised by PD Ruth Horn (UniA), Prof. Marcello Ienca (TUM) and Prof. Verina Wild (UniA).
Part of the task will be to develop in the interdisciplinary research project digiBRAVE whose goal is to establish a digital infrastructure for early detection of depression and recurrence of the disease as well as gradual digital therapy offerings to improve patient care. The graduated offers include aspects of self-help: online therapies, digital case management and digital psychoeducation. digiBRAVE is located at the University Hospital Augsburg and is supported by the Bavarian State Ministry for Health and Care promoted.
The position (100%, TV-L 13) is funded 50 % by TUM and 50% by UniA, and the postdoc will be employed at both institutions.
