Anna Sierawska M.A., MSc, MPhil

Research fellow

Ania is a research associate at the Institute for the History and Ethics of Medicine (IGEM) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where she works on projects related to the ethics of new technologies in healthcare.

Her international professional experience includes academic philosophy and ethics as well as health services research and public health. Throughout her education and professional career, she has worked with a variety of stakeholders: Researchers, Students, Patients, Clinicians and Industry Partners. Her research is based on both theoretical and empirical approaches.

She is particularly interested in bringing the discussion of philosophy and bioethics closer to her colleagues in other disciplines and to the general public.

Ania is a trained philosopher and also holds an Erasmus Mundus Master of Bioethics. Before coming to TUM, she worked as a research assistant at CAU Kiel and at the QUEST Center of Charité-Universitätsmedizin in Berlin.
