Franziska Schönweitz M.Sc., M.A.
Research fellow
Franziska Schönweitz is a research associate and doctoral student at the Institute for the History and Ethics of Medicine (IGEM) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
Her PhD and research is part of the TUM Innovation Network Neurotechnology of Mental Health (NEUROTECH). Her research focuses on medical and neuroethics as well as business ethics.
Previously, she worked on the BMBF-funded project "SolPan - Covid-19: Solidarity in Times of Pandemic." in the German part of the SolPan Consortiums as co-organizer, interviewer and author. Furthermore, she supported the Horizon 2020 project Biomarkers in Atopic Dermatitis and Psoriasis as well as the RR-AI Project (Tracing Ethical and Social Aspects of AI-Based Transformations in Healthcare Work and Knowledge Environments.).
She holds a Master's degree in Management & Technology M.Sc. from TUM with specialization in Biochemistry/Computer Science; Marketing, Strategy & Leadership as well as the ethical focus in Business, Artificial Intelligence and Medical Development. She wrote her bachelor and master thesis in business ethics.
In addition to her doctorate at TUM, Franziska Schönweitz also completed a master's degree in philosophy at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU), specializing in neuroethics and digital ethics in industry and science.
