IHEM external speaker Prof. Stefania Centrone: public ZOOM access
18 Feb. 2025 - 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Titel: A Short History of AI
Abstract: Ever since the Greeks laid the foundations of logic and geometry, the notion that reasoning could be reduced to a form of calculation—allowing arguments to be conclusively settled—has captivated the most rigorous thinkers of the Western tradition. This talk examines the evolution of the metaphor „thinking is reckoning“ throughout the history of philosophy, tracing its development from Socrates to contemporary discussions.
